Bart showed everyone today that he could do whatever the OTHER kitties could do and he went out and caught mousey that was terrorizing our snack cupboard to no end! Blind Bart was able to catch mousey with gusto and now has been sauntering about extremely proud of himself 😅🤷🙃😂

Way to go though Bart! Not only is Bart missing his left eye and has vision issues in the right Bart had ten teeth pulled two weeks ago... And NONE of that slowed him down! 💗💗

Maxwell Update 💕🐾: Maxwell was a great boy a

Maxwell Update 💕🐾: Maxwell was a great boy at the neurologist! The doctor said that she doesn't have an official diagnosis for Maxxy other than "multiple limb deformities & a severe spinal deformity". The neurologist said it was the worst case she's ever seen in her career BUT it was evident that Max was loved and beyond well cared for! She said that she couldn't tell us his life expectancy or if we should be doing anything different since she doesn't see too many kiddos like Max. The neurologist asked if we would want to do an MRI/CT scan for education purposes to help give her (and other vets!) some more insight on these adorable handipets but she said overall Max is checking out as one sweet, happy little boy! The neurologist did tell us something that sort of "stuck" with us... When we were discussing Max's quality of life and his life expectancy and she told me that "in the right environment, with the right family ANY pet can thrive!" The Duke of Dingle berries, the Sultan of Sh!t, the president of Poo, the eminence of excrement ..... The man, the myth... The legend Bifford Langer 🐾💕 HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIFFORD 🎉💝 every day this little boy amazes me in ALL he does! Going from being a tense, isolated scared baby getting beat up and bullied by other cats while he sat at a local shelter patiently waiting for HIS forever home (he had been returned three separate times to the shelter for stupid, frivolous reasons) and who knew this "foster" would become a permanent staple and the absolute love of my life!

Morning Friends! 🌄 There may be random segments of radio silence this morning/afternoon ... Maxwell and I are trekking to see the neurologist! It's about an hour and a half drive both ways and we're not sure what the neurologist is going to wanna do! If you could keep my brother Maxwell in your thoughts and prayers 💗 my momma wants to ensure that we're taking the very best care of Maxwell and hopefully meeting with the neurologist will better help us understand how to ensure we're taking proper care of Maxwell and any needs he may have! Well update you all whenever we get more information but in the meantime we apologize if there's delayed posts or communication ... Hey dudes! Sorry for the radio silence but it's been busy here in the land of misfits! With Maxwell continuing to bloat and his upcoming neurologist appointment on 10/8 .... Bart had a dental procedure today! Due to Bart's drainage from his gnarly URI and botched eye surgery that contributed to his serious periodontal disease! We couldn't let our little buddy suffer so he had ten teeth removed today! He's on pain medication and will be in the mends soon! Here is handicat Bart rocking the "cone of shame" so he didn't eat his IV catheter out 🤷🤦😂🙃
